'Rosewood' Spoilers: See Taye Diggs As Handsome Doctor Who Sets His Eyes On Detective Villa [VIDEO]
Make way for another charming doctor on Rosewood.
In a behind-the-scenes look of the series released on Wednesday, Taye Diggs will be guest starring as Dr. Mike Boyce, one of Rosewood's old pals from college.
Based on how Rosewood talks about Boyce, he seems pretty happy to have this guy come aboard. As an infectious disease doctor, he helps with medical research on someone who might have an attempted killer.
While things seem to start off smoothly, Mike gets a little distracted by Detective Villa. These two have some sexual chemistry the second they meet and it's doubtful it'll die out anytime soon.
Jaina Lee Ortiz (Villa) explained the difference between these two doctors and why her character might have her eyes set on Mike.
"Mike has this rugged sort of vibe, very smooth," Ortiz said. "Rosewood is very charming, but he's the cheesy charming, and Mike is the sort of, like...yeah, he's 'that' sort of charming."
The actress then giggled since it seems that Villa might have a little fling with this new doctor. Mike seems like the type who has no problem getting the ladies and Villa might find him hard to resist.
But how is this going to affect their case since Mike is supposed to be focusing on other things? And will this create any negative tension with Rosewood?
