Chris Hemworth's younger brother Liam Hemsworth dishes out in a recent interview with The Independent last Nov. 20 about his sibling's selfless deed by paying off their parent's lifelong debts.

"[My father] called my brother Chris back and said, 'I don't know how to feel. Since I left home, I have had debts and I thought I'd be paying them off until I died and have this weight hanging over me, and now to have them completely cleared,'" Hemsworth shared, admitting he gets emotional recounting the story.

"They are so happy now and able to spend more time with us," the 25-year-old Aussie star continued. "I would love to be able to do something for my parents like that."

Just like his brother Chris Hemsworth, according to Entertainment Tonight, he too is generous enough to share his success; the younger Hemsworth brother is also serving as an ambassador for the Australian Childhood Foundation.

"If you want to be a good person who adds to society, you have responsibility. That is something I take very seriously," the Hunger Games star said.

Chris Hemsworth Lost So Much Weight For His New Movie That He's Unrecognizable

The youngest son of an English teacher and social services counsellor says that the trailblazing feats of his brothers encouraged him to pursue acting and not just feel that he was destined to work in a trade, The Independent wrote.

Hemsworth's first job was working laying timber floors, which he did for six months before he started picking up regular acting gigs. He quickly followed his older brother Chris to America, and was casted to play Gale Hawthorne, Katniss Everdeen's longtime friend and sometimes lover in The Hunger Games.

Meanwhile last October, the two siblings share on their social media a family portrait, that Hemsworth affectionately calls his parents as "Legends."
