Katie Maloney claims she was always a good friend to Stassi Schroeder.

When Is 'Vanderpump Rules' Star Katie Maloney Getting Married?

Although Schroeder claimed to have been betrayed by her former best friend during season three, Maloney insists she never did anything wrong to her co-star, who returns to season four later this year.

"As far as Stassi coming back, I would say expect the unexpected," Maloney explained to Perez Hilton on Monday. "I mean, yeah, she's back, but I don't think you can expect the reasons why. I didn't know, either."

During Vanderpump Rules season three, Maloney traveled to Miami with Scheana Marie, who Schroeder didn't like, and as soon as she found out, Schroeder cut ties with Maloney. Then, when Maloney attempted to plead her case, Schroeder wasn't having it, and has kept her distance ever since.

"When I felt her just sort of digging and reaching and not giving me a real reason and I felt I knew the reason the whole time and that was the hurtful part about it... That she was mostly just using me going to Miami as an excuse," Maloney revealed. "The bottom line was that she wanted to cut all her ties with people and she didn't have a reason to cut me off as a friend."
