Singer Rachel Platten has experienced quite the remarkable year with her hit "Fight Song" taking over and now she gets to join in on the warm tradition of being part of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade this year!

The New England native gave fans a tease Wednesday night on Instagram of her rehearsal for the sure-to-be uplifting performance she will give. In the rehearsal video teaser you can hear Platten's latest single "Stand By You," which like "Fight Song" definitely sends out a message of hope.

She was adorably bundled up since the colder weather is certainly beginning to truly set in here on the East Coast.

Her bundled up look carried over to her outstanding performance too as she rocked yet another amazingly fashion-forward ensemble while keeping warm on a float with marionettes.

On Instagram she noted she has been up since 5 a.m. for her performance in the parade, but she is sporting a massive, bright smile, which is no surprise since she told Al Roker before the parade began, "I am so pumped."

It was obviously worth waking up early and dealing with low temperatures just to perform in the 89th year of this New York City tradition!
