Chelsea Houska's Dad Reacts To The 'Teen Mom 2' Engagement

During a Teen Mom 2 Facebook Q&A this week, shared by Reality Tea on Tuesday, Houska admitted that a televised wedding is far from definite, as her new fiance isn't completely comfortable in front of the cameras.

"He’s still shy when it comes to filming and I respect the fact that it’s not really his thing,” she explained to fans.

Just months ago, DeBoer was noticably absent during the Teen Mom 2 season six reunion, after he reportedly opted out of filming.

During the Q&A, Houska also gushed about DeBoer to fans, claiming she always knew he was The One.

“I’m glad I waited for someone so great and didn’t settle before!” she told fans. “I knew from the first time I saw him! Definitely know it’s the real deal... Everyone thinks he’s great and we’ve had so much support from family and friends."

As fans saw throughout the sixth season of Teen Mom 2, Houska's daughter, Aubree, is a huge fan of DeBoer, and has even expressed interest in calling him "Daddy."

“She loves him! They get along great,” Houska revealed, before explaining that Aubree refers to her fiance as “Coley or sometimes Coley Daddy.”
