Ben Affleck is reportedly determined to connect with Halle Berry, but in his latest photos, he doesn't seem to be motivated to make it happen.

While Affleck is typically quite dapper, he wasn't looking his best when he stepped out in Los Angeles wearing a hoodie and sweat pants on Thursday -- and the cigarette hanging from his mouth wasn't helping much either!

"Ben Affleck didn't appear too chirpy when he was spotted out and about in Los Angeles, California, on Thanksgiving," the Daily Mail reported on Friday. "The multi Golden Globe winner cut a lonely figure when he was pictured visiting a petrol station on his own, dressed in a super-casual get-up on Thursday."

In addition to his sweats, Affleck was sporting a mis-matched graphic T-shirt and black beanie, which he pulled down past his eyebrows.

“Ben has had an epic crush on Halle ever since he saw that sex scene in Swordfish” back in 2001, a source told OK! Magazine on Wednesday. “He’s now trying to find a role for her in one of his next movies by way of getting to know her, but his friends just wish he’d take her out on a date and get her out of his system, rather than spend four months wooing her on a movie set.”

The source also alleged Affleck's friends were taking bets regarding how long it would take before he asks Berry out on a date.
