It appears 2016 may be a year that Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett fans will see their favorite reality TV couple officially call it quits on their marriage.

According to a new report, Wilkinson, 30, has officially consulted with celebrity divorce attorney Laura Wasser-who has handled divorces for Heidi Klum, Mariah Carey and Kim Kardashian--recently in preparation for a split from her husband of six years, who was the focus of a major cheating scandal last year after an encounter with transgender model Ava London.

And though Wilkinson has claimed to have forgiven her husband for what happened with London, she still seems ready to end things and has plans to do so by handing her husband divorce papers by next year.

Kendra Wilkinson Stays Silent On Social Media Following Divorce Rumors

"She wants to make sure everything is lined up financially and with custody before she takes the plunge. She wants to be free," a source said. "She's ready for a new life."

If the couple were to divorce, it is unclear what it would mean for their WeTV reality show, which focuses on Wilkinson's life.

The two met back when Wilkinson still lived at the Playboy Mansion, and married there in 2009. Since then, they have welcomed two children together, Hank IV, 5, and Alijah, 1.

Wilkinson was pregnant with Alijah when Baskett allegedly met with London and had a sexual encounter. Baskett revealed this year that the situation was a result of his seeking marijuana, and that he did not solicit any sex from London, who did fondle him.
