Ben Affleck knows there's a lot riding on him for the success of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Will The Huge Ensemble Of 'Batman v Superman' Make It Feel Overstuffed?

Affleck is set to put on the Batsuit and play Batman in Batman v Superman and he knows the pressures involved with this. The actor spoke with Variety recently about the massive project:

"I think there is a ton of pressure on it," Affleck said, of the movie. "I mean I would be bulls-ing you to say there isn't."

Christian Bale Responds To Rumors Of A Cameo In 'Batman v Superman'

With the huge anticipation involved with Batman v Superman, Affleck is acutely aware of how things will be spun if the film does not do as well as expected.

"We are a very kind of instant gratification culture when it comes to analyzing the film business. And there is a lot of hyperbole involved," Affleck explained. "Nonetheless, there's a lot of pressure on it. If it doesn't do well, that will be extremely disappointing."

Affleck also spoke about Warner Bros. taking on this big, untapped universe of DC Comics. The company plans on developing a huge slate of DC films in the next few years, including Wonder Woman, Aquaman and Justice League.

"You'll see next year they are going to have a great year," Affleck said. "They are now developing ... probably the single greatest under-exploited IP asset in the entertainment business, the DC comic world. And now they have started to exploit that and you are going to see that blossom. And, when it does, it's going to be massive."

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is scheduled for release in theaters on March 25, 2016.
