Is It Less Likely There Will Be A 'Gossip Girl' Reunion?

In a report from News.com on Thursday, Ed Westwick, who played Chuck on the former teen drama, revealed that he and Chace Crawford (Nate) remain good friends.

When Westwick was asked if he is in contact with any of his co-stars from the series, he said, "Absolutely. I was with Chace last Saturday night doing Karaoke. I was singing 'Suspicious Minds' by Elvis Presley and I killed it."

Is There Going To Be A Crossover Episode Featuring Two 'Gossip Girl' Stars?

The site didn't have any photos from the guys' evening, but fans might be pleased to hear that the gang hasn't officially departed. Perhaps in the future, some other members of Manhattan's elite might join in for the fun.

Westwick also dished on how Gossip Girl helped create a new atmosphere for social media, and how happy he is with what the show has done for himself and for others.

"I remember a very big part of the first season was the flip phone and everyone was communicating with one another," the actor recalled. "I feel like the show was very relevant and of its time in relation to tweeting and eventually Instagram. We were picking up the external environment. And despite how extreme the storylines could be at times, and perhaps, unbelievable, I'm very pleased with the success of the show."
