Dogs are man's best friends. If you love them, they will also love you back. A pitbull named Curtis proved this when he showed love and affection to everyone around him even after his painful past.

Curtis was originally found by a concerned citizen named Tia. The dog had a gunshot wound in his head, and he looked like he was about to die. "It is one of the most horrific and heartbreaking things I have ever seen and I have seen a lot," said Tia in an interview. Curtis was immediately brought to Villalobos Rescue in Louisiana, where he was given swift medical attention for him to survive.

Currently, the pitbull is on his way to recovery, but he is much better compared to the time when he was first found. He is also very friendly with the people around him including Tia. 

Curtis showed that he clearly deserved to be loved. Let's hope that the people around him will continue loving this sweet dog.
