If there's one holiday that LeAnn Rimes absolutely loves, it's Christmas. The former chart-topper, who is currently doing the media rounds to help promote her latest studio offering, This Is Christmas, opened up about her holiday plans and how she and her husband, Eddie Cibrian, are excited to have his kids Mason and Jake join them for the most important day of the year.

LeAnn Rimes News: Singer Opens Up About 'Life After Country'   

According to E! Online on Tuesday, Rimes was very excited to announce that her stepsons will be joining her for Christmas this year, as she and Cibrian rotate holidays with his ex-wife and the boys' mother, reality star Brandi Glanville.

Rimes said, "They'll be with us! We get them, like, Christmas mid-day. So we'll have Christmas morning all on our own which will be kind of nice."

The country singer says that she also likes to break protocol by decorating her home for Christmas right after Halloween.

She explained, "People get really angry, about that, too! They're like, 'You cannot decorate before Thanksgiving!' But I like to extend the holiday. I'm very thankful for my Christmas tree and my decorations!"

As far as their actual holiday plans this year, Rimes added, "We sometimes will go down to the place where he proposed to me, actually. We've gone and had a little drink down there and hung out before we go to his parents' house because his mom always cooks this big Cuban feast."
