Is Katrina Kaif referring to her boyfriend's father as her in-law?

What Does Deepika Padukone Think About Ranbir Kapoor?

On Tuesday, Bollywood Life mentioned that Kaif attended a party where Ranbir Kapoor's father, Rishi, showed up and she supposedly called him "Papa." This clearly caused some suspicion that Kaif and Kapoor are at the point in their relationship where they might as well be husband and wife if she's comfortable enough to call Rishi her "papa."

But as it turns out, this seems to be just a rumor. Kapoor recently spoke to the press where a reporter asked if this was true.

"No, it's not true," he said. "She doesn't call him papa. She calls him Rishiji."

In a previous report from The Indian Express, the actor opened up on how his father got married when he was younger than his son's current age. But that doesn't mean Kapoor, himself, plans to get tie the knot right now.

"He got married when he was 28 which is not that young," Kapoor said. "Yes, I am 33, but times have also changed now. At that time it was a given that now that you are 28, if you are working you should get married. I think when you naturally get the feeling of getting married, it should happen only then. It is an organic process. I believe in the institution of marriage. But age has nothing to do with marriage."
