'The 100' Season 3: Prepare For 'The Best Hug Ever', Who Will It Be Between?

Instead of playing Finn's girlfriend and lifelong BFF, Raven was first penned as the doomed Spacewalker's mother.

"In the original pilot, Raven was Finn's mother, that's true. The realities of production dictated that we needed to lower our page count, so we took her out of the pilot and then reimagined her for series," writer Kim Shumway explained on Monday. "We liked the idea of seeing young people on the Ark as well as the ground, so she eventually became Finn's girlfriend, left behind."

She wasn't behind for long, and if Bellamy hadn't trashed her radio, she would have quickly become the 100's much needed life line. Road bumps aside, Raven went on to be the teens' savior on more than one occasion. No matter how hard the Earth tries to beat her down, the beloved character just keeps popping right back up.
