Cynthia Bailey might be sparking up new feuds on this season of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta, but it looks like there is still hope for her and NeNe Leakes’ friendship.

Bailey and Leakes were pretty good friends from the moment Bailey joined the show in season three. Bailey was even a bridesmaid when Leakes remarried her husband in a television special back in 2013.

But things quickly went south after the ladies suffered a huge feud on the show and millions saw their friendship break several times.

But now that Leakes has departed from the series (for now), and she and Bailey have been posting elfies together on social media, Leakes confessed that all the love is not lost between her and Bailey.

Leakes checked in with Bravo and revealed, “It was really great to hang out with Cynthia. Again, we’re still a work in progress. It’s been a long road of recovery for us. This is something very different for me…It may be a flaw…”

She said that giving her friendship with Bailey another chance isn’t something she typically does when it comes to her friendships.

“Generally, when I have a friendship that has gone south, I usually leave it in the south. So this is different for me…In the north. I generally don’t work it out.”

Bailey and Sheree Whitfield went to see Leakes’ latest Broadway role in Chicago. Interestingly enough, Leakes said it’s rare for her cast mates to support her.
