Chatter over the topic of who will end up playing the S&M-crazed billionaire Christian Grey in the film adaptation of E.L. James' "Fifty Shades of Grey" novel continues to heat up the Internet.

When it comes to the potential suitor list for the highly coveted role, Ian Somerhalder and Matt Bomer are two names that have seemed to come up on the regular.  While they are clearly still in the running, they may still be considered a little too old for the 27-year-old part.  However, that hasn't stopped loyalists from adding another name as a prospective candidate that's clearly above the respective age range, Bradley Cooper, who recently chimed in on the erotica.

According to Design & Trend, the 36-year-old "Silver Linings Playbook" actor was queried on whether he's heard the buzz about potentially being considered for the part of Grey, and he said the following:

"I don't believe that that's true.  I haven't even read it.  I don't know anything about it, other than that it's a sex book."

Other fan favorites that have been brought up for the Grey role include "Les Miserables" Eddie Redmayne, "Harry Potter's" Daniel Radcliffe, "Gossip Girl's" Chace Crawford and "Twilight's" Robert Pattinson, among many others.

The sexually dominated "Fifty Shades of Grey" premise revolves around the powerful, rich and kinky Grey, who gets himself involved in a dominant and submissive sexual relationship with a shy college graduate student named Anastasia Steele.  Through an "agreement," the two delve into the kinky world of bondage and masochism.

Up until this point, the producers attached to the film have remained discreet on their casting approach.  Early in 2012, Focus Features and Universal Pictures purchased the rights to the "Fifty Shades."  The racy novel has now sold well over 60 million copies and the movie is expected to do just as well.
