Her character's storyline has taken a literally shocking turn, and now the question remains of whether Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) will be exiting the canvas on The Bold and the Beautiful.

After her affair became known to Wyatt (Darin Brooks), and she learned that Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) was the one who told him, Ivy headed back to Forrester to confront her. A major issue was happening backstage behind the runway with the electrical system when she arrived, and the confrontation between the two got ugly after Steffy pushed at Ivy-and she fell into the wires, where she was electrocuted.

Now, Ivy appears to be in critical condition-and Steffy will once again be questioned about how she handles confrontation after what is not similiarly eerie circumstances to her role in her cousin Aly's death over the summer.

And while the situation will certainly bring a whole new set of consequences for Steffy-whose life was continuing to fall perfectly into place with her dream job at Forrester and her recent engagement to Liam )Scott Clifton)--it will also bring a whole new level of drama for Ivy as well.

However, unlike with Aly, it appears Ivy won't die following the incident-though she will be unconscious in the hospital for a while.

And though Wyatt did end things with her after finding himself unable to look past her cheating indiscretion with Thomas, the incident will make him reevaluate how he feels about her-and he will remain by her side in the hopes that if and when she wakes up, they can resume their relationship.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
