They have been chained to a bed that is burning around them and are facing an almost certain death, but Abigail (Kate Mansi) and Chad (Billy Flynn) will do everything they can to ensure they escape Ben's (Robert Scott Wilson) maniacal attempt to kill them on Days of Our Lives. 

Brady Gives Up Everything For Theresa

Chad tried to rescue Abigail from Ben's capture, but his arrival at the cabin where he was keeping her only spurred more of Ben's bad behaviors. After an attempt at strangling Chad, Ben changed his mind and tied his enemy to the bed-then forced Abigail to also tie herself up. After pouring gas on the bed and setting it on fire, he took the baby Abigail gave birth to while in captivity and took off, leaving them to die.  

His rage was inspired by the fact that the two were in love with each other, and his knowledge that Abigail cheated on him with Chad. However, as he tries to flee, he may underestimate just how much the two connect with one another-and are able to figure out a way to escape and save their own lives.  

Chad Attempts To Rescue Abigail From Ben

As they escape, Ben's getaway will also be stopped when JJ (Casey Moss) and Lani (Sal Stowers) arrive at the scene. Now, Ben's reign as the Necktie Killer could come to an end-but there could still be another victim claimed before the mystery is closed for good.  

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
