The claws came out on the set of Chelsea Handler’s E! talk show, “Chelsea Lately” when the tell-it-like-it-is comedian got into a back and forth bickering match with guest, Piers Morgan on Wed Jan 30. Never one to hold her tongue, Handler clashed with CNN anchor as soon as he took his seat on the couch.

Morgan was a guest on the show to celebrate his two year anniversary on CNN as the host of “Pierce Morgan Tonight.” Instead of giving the CNN newsman a proper greeting, Handler shot at him a snarky, “What are you looking at?”

Serving the host a backhanded compliment, Morgan replied, “Well you’ve either had plastic surgery or a makeover, because you look really hot today.”

The 37-year-old countered, “Oh you’re annoying. You’re so obnoxious; you wonder why everybody hates you! I specifically covered up so you couldn’t look at me and undress me with your molester eyes.”

Morgan proceeded to take a cheap shot at Handler by spearing a joke about her supposed out of control drinking habit. “Normally when I come on the show, you’re really hung-over in a very unprofessional way”, he cracked.

Seeing no end in sight for the back and forth bickering, Handler attempted to steer the conversation back to its focus: the second anniversary of the of the CNN host's show. However, the two failed at trying to have any form of normalcy in their interview.

Morgan began, “You interviewed me last year on my anniversary, which just proved one thing, really.”

Cut off by Handler before he could completed his thought she shot back, “Let me guess that you’re a better interviewer than I am. “

Morgan sarcastically nodded in agreement. Handler continued, “Well I’m not pretending to be a great interviewer. I’m not even pretending to be good at my job. “

Morgan responded, “Both things are clearly apparent today. But I can help you.”

Handler delivered the final blow saying, “You can suck my a--. I mean really.”
