The pair had quite the run recently performing it live on TV as well as at some Jingle Balls, including Friday night's 102.7 KIIS FM's Jingle Ball in Los Angeles.

Anyway, while on the red carpet at 102.7 KIIS FM's Jingle Ball at the Staples Center Friday night, Mendes told Chelsea Briggs from Hollywire he definitely wants to continue working with Cabello.

What's The Deal With Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello's Relationship?

"We were really nervous," he initially dished in the video below about how people would respond to the single, adding, "You never know how things are going to go over especially with a boy and a girl cause people just like to assume things."

"But we were just so into the song as singers and songwriters. We're so devoted to this song," Mendes further shared, adding how "awesome" it's been seeing how much people are enjoying "I Know What You Did Last Summer," which led to him admitting he's game for even more songwriting with the Fifth Harmony member.

"Not at the moment," he revealed to Briggs, but explained, "But we definitely will cause she's incredible. I'll force her to write songs with me! She has to."

Briggs then asked if Mendes would ever consider writing with Cabello's bandmates, Lauren Jauregui, Normani Kordei Hamilton, Ally Brooke Hernandez and Dinah Jane Hansen. He would!

"Totally!" he beamed, adding, "Yeah, they're so awesome! They're so talented! Definitely!"

Some Harmonizers have been giving Mendes and Cabello a hard time about their collaboration, but that doesn't seem to be deterring him from wanting to keep working with Cabello and even her bandmates.
