The theme park that everybody's been waiting for, is based on J.K. Rowling’s magical series. With the help of witch Luna Lovegood (Evanna Lynch) herself, Universal Studios Hollywood announced on Tuesday the opening of its “Wizarding World of Harry Potter” is going to be on April 7.

Luna Lovegood (Evanna Lynch) was a witch and daughter of Xenophilius and Pandora Lovegood. Her mother accidentally died while experimenting with spells when Luna was nine, and Luna was raised by her father, editor of the magazine The Quibbler, in a rook-like house near the village of Ottery St. Catchpole.

As shown on the video, Luna magically lights up the whole Hogwarts castle. Hogsmeade village will open and along with it, is the Universal’s first outdoor roller coaster - “Flight of the Hippogriff”, and a “hyper-realistic 3D-HD” ride called “Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey,” on which passengers will wear Quidditch-inspired goggles.
