Apparently, Abby Lee Miller isn't the 'monster' that the media is making her out to be. In fact, it seems to be quite the opposite as the controversial dance instructor is defending her decision for not having one of her dancers perform as a pregnant teen, despite the pressure she got from one of the Dance Moms producers.

According to Jezebel on Friday, Miller claims that a producer approached her with the idea of having one of her child dancers don a fake baby bump and dance a routine as a pregnant teen. And despite the potential in high ratings, Miller was having none of it.

She explained, "If I've gone missing from a few episodes in Season 6, don't believe anything anybody says...When a grown man tells me he wants one of my kids to portray a pregnant teen and wear a baby bump-I have to put my foot down. If that means not moving my foot and not working and getting fined in the process, well that's a risk I am willing to take to protect my girls."

And while Miller is known for her scathing verbal attacks and her on screen outbursts, she claims that she wants to teach her dancers good integrity.

She added, "I am always teaching principles, integrity, and values in addition to dance technique. It is important for me that the girls learn to stand up and fight for what they believe in!"

So far the Lifetime network has not made any comments about Miller's claims. Keep up with Enstars for all the latest news on Abby Lee Miller and all of your favorite reality stars right here.
