With Kim working her way into motherhood, Kourtney chasing after two tots and Khloe enjoying the married life, it’s time for Kendall and Kylie to start carrying the throne. The two Jenners of the clan spoke to Glamour magazine about being trailed by the paparazzi and having their lives filmed almost 24/7. The two teens started their TV career on “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” in 2007 when they were just 11 and 9 years old.

Asked how they feel about being thrust into the spotlight, Kylie said: “Our family is closer because of the show. And when we are older, we’ll have the memories on tape. If some of those moments hadn’t been filmed, I wouldn’t remember them.”

Though appreciative of their family’s success reality TV franchise, Kendall admits that the public reaction she gets from having her life in the public eye can be disheartening. “We appreciate everything that we have, but we don’t remember what it’s like to be normal kids who aren’t harassed by the paparazzi. I hate that. We’re underage girls. I don’t want to be followed by random men I don’t know. It can also be hard to deal with other kids who are jealous or mean. I can’t post a picture on Instagram without being criticized,” she said.

Being the youngest members in the family (aside from Penelope and Mason) they still are really just kids. They occasionally fight and look up to the men in their lives for advice. “If we’re fighting, we call Khloe. She’s our peacemaker. Kourtney keeps us down-to earth,” Kendall said.

As far as Kim’s role as the big sister, Kylie said, “Kim teaches us how to deal with the spotlight.”

Over the last few years Kendall and Kylie's modeling careers have taken off. They both have landed lucrative modeling deals with appearances at New York Fashion Week and spreads in a number of magazines. The men in their lives are often in over-protective mode offering them advice on how to deal with dating.

“Rob checks on me at least three times a day, and Lamar wants to meet any guy we’re talking to. Just yesterday, Scott was going over the kind of guy I should date”, Kylie said.

As for feeling a way about not carrying the famous Kardashian name. “We’re full-throttle Jenners! We don’t have any desire to be Kardashians,” Kendall said. “All that matters is that we’re family,” Kylie added.
