Abby Wambach is ending her soccer career on a high note.

According to a report by Heavy on Wednesday, Wambach will retire from the sport tonight, ending her career as the all-time greatest scorer in international history and reigning World Cup Champion, and ahead of her big night, Wambach released a Gatorade advertisement, announcing the news.

"Forget me. Forget my number, forget my name, forget I ever existed," Wambach requested in the clip seen below. "Forget the medals won, the records broken, and the sacrifices made. I want to leave a legacy where the ball keeps rolling forward. Where the next generation accomplishes things so great.. that I am no longer remembered. So, forget me. Because the day I’m forgotten, is the day we will succeed."

Also on Wednesday, Wambach shared a number of tweets with fans, before deleting her Twitter and Instagram accounts. Below are her final tweets:
