Forget about the Grammy’s because Paul McCartney could perform at the 2012 Olympics in London.

The legendary musician hinted at the possible gig in a recent interview with The Daily Mirror.

“I am seeing the guy because there is something they might want me to do. I might be doing something in the Olympics. I won’t know until then.”

If McCartney does perform at the Olympics, it will be his second major performance of the year. The former Beatle was also approached to headline the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

“I think she’s great and does a great job,” he revealed. “People say, ‘Ugh, the monarchy and all that’, but that are you going to get in return?”
