Fifty Shades of Grey movie buzz continues to dominate the web at an astronomical rate. 

Since chatter surrounding the film adaptation of E.L. James' racy erotica first hit the general public, many fans have been obsessively scouring the Internet to see the read about the latest frontrunners for the role of Christian Grey. 

One potential suitor for the S&M-crazed billionaire role that has been rehashed is Gossip Girl's Chace Crawford. Now that the actor's long stint on the CW hit show has come to an ended, he told to Fox News that he would be more than happy to don the role of the sexy CEO.

"I would love the challenge. I have not read the books, but what I know is that it is risqué, and to be honest, anything to shake up from the way I have been going would be good," he said. "Hey, if they ask me to come and read, I would definitely do.  I don't even know what the character is like;  I haven't read anything or heard anything about it!"

Crawford also touched on his mindset in regards to sex scenes and his preparation that would go into them.

"I am only comfortable with S&M sex scenes! The other ones are just too simple and boring to me. I actually think, whether it is a sex scene, or screaming at something to get something across," he said. "I think it is kind of attacked the same way, and you're in the work mode, and you stay professional,  It has never been awkward or intimidating."

Crawford's former character on the Gossip Girl TV show, Nate Archibald, has a lot in common with Grey.  Both are extremely wealthy, good-looking and have been in relationships with woman who he has a big age difference with.  

However, Crawford would clearly be doing something unique, as the Grey character would come with a sex dungeon full of bondage gear.
