After signing away her rights to the child before entering prison in 2012, the Teen Mom OG star attended a court hearing, where she was allegedly awarded with 50/50 custody of the child.

Is 'Teen Mom OG' Amber Portwood's Fiance Hiding MAJOR Secrets? It Appears So...

Just one day prior, Portwood's co-star, Farrah Abraham, weighed in on her custody battle, slamming Shirley for keeping her daughter from her, and suggesting he lose weight and get happy.

“Gary’s a very manipulative, negative, sad, fu-ked up individual," Abraham told OK! Magazine during an event on Thursday. "I really feel that if both of them can really try to stay positive, motivated, and inspired by Amber's daughter and how beautiful she is then none of that sh-t would affect their co-parenting.”

“I feel like Gary should be very open to letting Leah be with her mother more because Leah’s a girl. They bond, they get along way better than I think she does with Gary. And you know what, someone’s having a power trip and it’s not okay. It’s really f-cking hurtful and sad to watch that on TV,” she continued. “Hopefully he loses weight, feels happier, and becomes a better person.”

Teen Mom OG season six premieres on Monday, Jan. 4, at 10 p.m. on MTV.
