Victoria's Secret model Candice Swanepoel delighted almost 400,000 followers on Twitter when she posted a topless photo of herself on Thursday.

Swanepoel, 24, posted an early Valentine's Day picture on her social media account of her wearing none other than a pair of lace Victoria's Secret underwear. The beautiful blonde covered up her chest in the black-and-white image with her arms folded in front of her. In the shot, her hair is windswept as she is smiles away from the camera.

"Good morning NYC. Thanks to everyone who came yesterday @victoriassecret #victoriassecret #valentinesday," the model captioned the photo on Instagram and Twitter.

Swanepoel had an in-store appearance at a Victoria's Secret store in New York City on Wednesday. Together with fellow VS model Lily Aldridge they promoted the brand's new Valentine's Day bra and fragrance. During the promotional event, Swanepoel shared her own special plans for Valentine's Day- she will be traveling to enjoy some fun in the sun.

"I will be in Brazil enjoying the sun and the beach. I feel sexiest on the beach," the South African model told Pop Sugar.

Swanepoel has been spending her time with male model Hermann Nicoli and Aldridge is married to Kings of Leon front man Caleb Followill.

Swanepoel's recent stints for the leading lingerie brand include wearing Valentine's Day-inspired underwear in the current Victoria's Secret catalogue.

The South African stunner also graces the cover of the brand's latest swimsuit issue that arrived in stores January. In the cover shot, Swanepoel wears a Very Sexy bandeau top, one of Victoria's Secret's newest items. She appears with other Victoria's Secret models for photos taken on the beaches of Miami and Turks and Caicos, shot by photographer Russell James. Swanepoel has been on the cover of the swimsuit issue before, however, she was still humbled by being chosen.

"It was such an honor to be picked for the cover," Swanepoel said to People. "It is such an iconic catalogue. Before I was a model, I used to see Gisele Bündchen, Tyra Banks and all of those iconic women on it. It is amazing that a little South African girl can get on the cover."
