It's Christmastime, which means fitting in some chill time to watch hours upon hours of Christmas movies with loved ones.

Throughout the years so many Christmas-themed movies have been made for screens big and small. That got us thinking about which is the ultimate Christmas movie to watch, especially now that Christmas is nearly upon us! So we compiled a list of 16 of the best Christmas movies from comedies to animated creations spanning from 1938 to 2004. Trust us, it was difficult to narrow down the options to just 16, but we managed. You voted in Round 1, Round 2 and Round 3, which cut our 16 picks to just two options now.

Home Alone vs. A Christmas Story

Home Alone and A Christmas Story are both humorous festive films, but only one will be deemed Enstars Readers' Choice Favorite Christmas Movie of 2015.

Home Alone, which was released in 1990, features a huge misstep by Kevin McCallister's (Macaulay Culkin) family: they leave him at home alone for Christmas. Mind you, he is only 8 years old and manages to outsmart two burglars that are terrorizing his ritzy neighborhood while all the families are gone for the holidays. There are extremely funny scenes throughout as well as some sweet, loving moments!

Meanwhile, Ralphie (Peter Billingsley) just wants a specific and super cool BB gun for a present in A Christmas Story, which came out in 1983. Once he gets it, he winds up causing some damage that is somewhat funny, considering others warned him about this particular item not making a good idea for a coveted gift.
