Millions were shocked to see Rihanna looking more conservative than usual as she wore a gown designed by Azzedine Alaia, Neil Lane jewelry and Manolo Blahnik shoes. At this year's Grammys, which aired last night on CBS, the pop singer opted for an overall classic, elegant look with flowing curls and a matching bold lip color.

She also appeared to be rather cozy seated next to Chris Brown during the ceremony. He recently appeared in court facing probation issues with regard to the 2009 incident in which he was charged with beating. Rihanna reportedly appeared with Brown in court and even blew the singer a kiss during the proceeding. Prosecutors are looking to revoke the 23-year-old R&B singer's probation because they say they could not find reliable evidence he in fact completed his community labor sentence.

Rihanna paired up with Mikky Ekko for a duet of Stay. Unlike the energetic pop numbers from artists like Taylor Swift, who opened last night's ceremony with a circus-themed set of her hit We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together, Stay is more of a ballad and Rihanna gave an emotional performance.

Dressed in a long, black slip dress and surrounded by large pillars, the pop star crooner sang alongside Ekko and received a standing ovation from the audience in the end--including Chris Brown. The newly-reunited couple appeared very much in love throughout much of the ceremony that night.

Rihanna later teamed up with Bruno Mars, Sting and Ziggy Marley for a tribute to the late Bob Marley, who would have turned 68 on Feb. 6. Hiis life was cut short due to cancer on May 11, 1981 at the age of 36. They gathered on stage that night to perform Marley's classic "Could You Be Loved."
