The Hunger Games: Catching Fire star brought some Christmas cheer to the kids and families at Shriners Hospital in Montreal. The 24-year-old Lawrence took time to chat and pose for photos with children and staff, and signed one lucky patient’s cast. The hospital staff caught Jennifer in action with the tough youngsters and hopped onto Facebook afterward to share the news of her visit.

Lawrence has been filming X-Men in Canada with co-stars Oscar Isaac, James Macavoy, Nicholas Hould and Michael Fassbender, as she takes on the role of Mystique for a third time. The movie is slated to hit theaters in 2016.

The Shriners Hospital caters to children with chronic conditions, particularly neuromusculoskeletal disorders.
