New reports reveal that Frank (Kevin Spacey) and Claire (Robin Wright) will probably be going on record with their separation in the upcoming season of House of Cards.

New Characters To Threaten Frank In Season 4?

According to the International Business Times, the couple will probably not make a secret of their break up, even if only for the benefit of Frank's campaign for reelection. Such speculation has been bolstered by the new teasers and promotional website for Frank's 2016 campaign that have been recently unveiled. In the teaser and the website, Claire is nowhere to be seen.

On the website, when one clicks on "Meet Claire Underwood" one is led to an error message:

Hillary Clinton Thinks House of Cards Is 'Bad TV'?

"The page you're looking for might have been removed, had it's name changed, or is temporarily unavailable."

We can kind of take this as a confirmation of the fact that Claire won't be changing her mind about playing ally to Frank, even if only for the sake of putting up a farce.

The first teaser for this season was also recently revealed during the GOP debate. It streams a hopeful view of the country and all its people living free, in peacefull harmony. The voiceover for the spot runs: "It's a new day in America, today more people will go to work, return to their families and sleep more soundly than ever before all because one man refuses to settle, putting people before politics. That man is Frank Underwood."

Season 4 will premier March 4 on Neftlix.
