Beyonce Knowles premiered her documentary Life Is But A Dream Tuesday night at Ziegfeld Theatre in New York City and her good friend Oprah Winfrey was there to celebrate with her, according to the International Business Times.

In front of a group of family and friends, Knowles debuted her film that takes a no-holds barred look at various moments in the Countdown singer's life, detailing her miscarriage, rumors of her faking her pregnancy and firing her father as her manager.

Winfrey said Knowles did a good job of telling her own story in her documentary.

"She did an amazing job...People are going to be amazed," Winfrey said. "People are going to feel a connection to her that they didn't feel before. Because she shows us how real she is. She understands that all pain is the same. The way she hurts is the same way other people have hurt."

"I think the documentary is a game changer," she added.

Winfrey could not contain her excitement about her anticipated interview with Knowles and shared with fans every step of the process, in pictures posted on Twitter earlier Tuesday; from picking a dress to wear, to views of the clouds from her plane window, and crossing the George Washington Bridge once she touched down in New York. She tweeted four times about Knowles on Feb. 12.

"Did we have fun or what? #nextchapter sat 8pm."

"Which dress for @Beyonce interview Navy or Purple? #nextchapter sat.8pm."

"Hello NYC..view from Gge Washgtn. bridge headed to Manhattan to talk to @Beyonce. So happy she said Yes...."

"View from the clouds on my way to interview BEY! #nextchapter this Satuday 8pm."

The much-anticipated documentary was co-directed by Knowles and Ed Burke. Teaser trailers revealed that the film will dive into Knowles' pregnancy and the birth of her daughter, Blue Ivy, among many other aspects of the singer's dream life.

In an interview printed in Vogue magazine's March issue, the singer talked about how her baby girl changed her life. She said about her daughter, "She's my road dog. She's my homey, my best friend. I feel like I have something that has grounded me so much more."

Knowles' exclusive Oprah's Next Chapter interview with Winfrey will air on Feb. 16.
