Showtime is set to ring in the new year with the season 6 premiere of Shameless and the series premiere of Billions.

First 'Twin Peaks' Teaser Is As Ominous As It Is Beautiful

Showtime will give viewers a sneak preview of the premieres of both Shameless and Billions on New Year's Day. On Jan. 1, the network is putting both premieres on YouTube, Facebook and SHO.com. They can also be downloaded as a free video podcast on iTunes. You don't even need a Showtime subscription to view them!

Additionally, the premieres of Shameless and Billions can be seen on Hulu, Roku and Sony PlayStation Vue, in addition to various On Demand services depending on your cable company.

However, these premieres will be the TV-14 rated versions--so don't expect excessive swearing and nudity.

Of course, Showtime subscribers will have access to both premieres as well.

Billions looks to be Showtime's answer to Netflix's House of Cards--a high powered political, financial drama full of backstabbing and betrayal. The series centers on a "blue-blooded" U.S. Attorney, Chuck Rhoades (Paul Giamatti), and a "calculating" billionaire Bobby "Axe" Axelrod (Damian Lewis). Other stars include Maggie Siff (Sons of Anarchy), Malin Ackerman (Trophy Wife), Toby Leonard Moore (Marvel's Daredevil), David Costabile (Breaking Bad) and Condola Rashad (Smash).

Meanwhile, the sixth season premiere of Shameless will see the dysfunctional Gallagher family preparing for "another long Chicago winter" as the question of whether they will grow apart becomes larger.

Shameless premieres its sixth season on Showtime on Sunday, Jan. 10 at 9 p.m. ET/PT while Billions will premiere Sunday, Jan. 17 at 10 p.m.
