Simon Cowell revealed why he's stoked for the new season of America's Got Talent.

In a video posted on the show's Twitter page on Friday, the popular reality judge explained his connection to the series, leaving him with high hopes for what's to come.

"I'm excited because I love the show," Cowell said. "I've been producing it for 10 years, secretly always wanted to be on it. I've been on the British show for 10 years and had the best time of my life. And now I want to see what America's got to offer."

The series has taken on a number of crazy and wild talents that range from eating fire, juggling, comedy, unique dances and strong singers. In fact, Sharon Irving, who competed in the 10th season as a singer, gave advice to new contestants who will be embracing the stage with their performances.

"You don't get a lot of time, so whatever you do, do it well the first time," Irving said via Deseret News. "Give it all you've got."

The singer made her mark on the series when she sang Hozier's popular hit "Take Me to Church." This left the judges so impressed that Mel B hit the golden buzzer.

America's Got Talent is expected to return this spring on NBC.
