While on vacation, Hathaway officially confirmed the news on Instagram, sharing the first photo of her nude baby bump on the beach.
"Happy 2016 to my beautiful Instafriends!" Hathaway wrote on Instagram on Sunday. "So, posting a bikini pic is a little out of character for me, but just now while I was at the beach I noticed I was being photographed. I figure if this kind of photo is going to be out in the world it should at least be an image that makes me happy (and be one that was taken with my consent. And with a filter :) Wishing you love, light and blessings for the year ahead!"

Last month, a source spoke out, revealing how the award-winning actress has responded to her pregnancy.
"Anne is feeling really healthy. She is working out and trying to stay in shape during this pregnancy," a source told E! News. "Her energy levels are high. She loves knowing that a baby is inside her and this pregnancy is so exciting. She has some new cravings. She is at a healthy pregnancy weight and not stressing out about the weight gain."
Meanwhile, "Adam is such a good husband to her. He is very loving and helps if she needs anything. Anne and Adam love taking care of their animals! That was the first step to a baby! They can't wait to introduce their dogs to the new member of their family soon!"
