The final season of American Idol premieres tonight on Fox - here's how and when to watch it live.

American Idol returns for its 15th and final season tonight (Wednesday, Jan. 6) with judges Keith Urban, Jennifer Lopez and Harry Connick, Jr. and host Ryan Seacrest. The goal to find one more American Idol will begin with auditions. Tonight's premiere begins at 8 p.m. ET/PT and runs for two hours.

The auditions that will air tonight are from Denver, Colo. and Atlanta, Ga. Tomorrow night's episode features auditions from Little Rock, Ark. and San Francisco, Calif.

This farewell season of American Idol will feature appearances by several Idol winners and alums, plus the show's original judging panel, Randy Jackson, Paula Abdul and Simon Cowell.
