Katy Perry to make first public appearance in U.S. since split

Katy Perry will step out in her first public appearance in the U.S. since splitting with Russell Brand on Friday.

The Firework singer will appear at the opening of 1 OAK Las Vegas at The Mirage Hotel. The event will also benefit the GiveLove charity; an organization founded by

Patricia Arquette and Rosetta Millington-Getty to develop temporary housing solutions and improved sanitation systems in Haiti.

Perry will be joined by Markus Molinari of J. Molinari Jewelers, Arquette and Millington-Getty.
