Robbie Kay is returning to ABC's Once Upon a Time for the 100th episode, and while he won't reveal much about it, he did offer a few morsels of information.

Kay, who played Peter Pan in the show's third season, is set to make his big return in the upcoming 100th episode. Of course, Peter Pan died in the first half of season 3, but with our heroes now searching through the Underworld for Hook (Colin O'Donoghue), we'll see Pan and all sorts of villains from Once Upon a Time's past.

Speaking with Comic Vine recently, Kay admitted that he can't speak too much about his presence in the episode, but it will be a surprising return.

Why Emma & Regina Relationship On 'Once Upon a Time' Is 'Important'

"I'm not sure how much I can say, but it's going to be a refreshing kind of spin on the character," he teased. "You're going to see a little bit in a different light. Obviously a lot has happened in the two or so years since we saw him. A lot has happened, I think he's learned from what has happened in Season 3. There might be a little remorse. It makes him more interesting, I think. There's a little bit of a redemption factor in there for him now."

Kay also spoke about the experience of getting the job on Once Upon a Time in season 3:

"It was really fun. It was a really great experience. I loved being part of an American TV show," he said. "It was enlightening for sure. It kind of prepared me for a lot of things in the future. It was a great cast and great crew. It was an awesome character. They wrote it brilliantly. I loved playing him. I got to be an evil guy which was really really cool. To be able to come back now is really quite fun."

It remains to be seen how Peter Pan will be involved in the 100th episode, though based on Kay's comments, we may find some sympathy for the boy who never grew up.

Once Upon a Time season 5 returns on Sunday, March 6 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
