Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney mocked Justin Bieber via a photo he uploaded on Twitter over the weekend that has since made Bliebers furious, many of which have taken to posting harsh messages on the rocker's social media page.

The phrase "Carney enrages Bieber" become a trending topic on search engines over the weekend, according to TMZ, after Carney changed his profile photo on Twitter to that of Bieber wearing black rimmed glasses such as the ones Carney wears. See the photo here. He also changed the user description to "official twitter for the actual verified Justin Bieber DOS virtual buddy," though at time of publication it reads, "official twitter for the actual verified Patrick Carney (formerly Justin Bieber)."

The feud between the artists began earlier in the month when Carney was asked by a reporter to comment on Bieber's "snub" at the Grammy Awards (the 18-year-old was not nominated for a single award this year). Carney responded by saying, "He's rich, right? Grammys are for like music not for money and he's making a lot of money. I don't know. He should be happy, I guess."

Following his comment Bieber wrote on Twitter on Feb. 12, "the black keys drummer should be slapped around haha."

Carney's recent Twitter stunt has not sat well with many Bieber fans, who flooded the drummer's respective page with hateful comments. Below are some of the tweeted messages:

"How could you hate on justin for not getting a Grammy while your sitting there like a fa---t ass playing cheap ass drums like bye"

"@patrickcarney is secretly a pedophile :')"

"@patrickcarney Justin will school you on the basketball court and on the drums."

"I just read this news about a loser who was saying that Justin doesn't desserve a grammy, but wait what's this loser name?"

"@patrickcarney you is firefly compared to the brilliance of Justin"

"hey, you're old to be insulting to a guy who has just started his career and is fulfilling her dreams, not to ruin you."

The Black Keys scored big at the Grammys on Feb. 10, taking home the awards for Best Rock Performance, Best Rock Song and Best Rock Album.
