When it comes to Kate Middleton, her looks and her public image are everything to her. That's probably why the Duchess is none too happy about a photo that Buckingham Palace shared of her this past weekend. In fact, a new report says Middleton is "furious" with the palace for sharing an embarrassing photo from her past on their Twitter account to celebrate her 34th birthday.

According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry on Monday, the British monarchy shared a photo of Kate during her youth alongside a more recent one and captioned it simply with, "Wishing The Duchess of Cambridge ‪@KensingtonRoyal a very happy birthday! ‪#HappyBirthdayHRH."

Unfortunately though, many followers didn't think the photos were very flattering, along with Blogger Grace Gerard. She says that there might have been a reason why the palace has been constantly choosing photos of the Duchess with "bags under her eyes" and "sagging neck skin."

She wrote, "As another year begins the eyes of the world will once again be upon Kate Middleton. Will that nasty anorexia hearsay make the rounds again? Will the Duchess of Cambridge look as if she has stepped into a time machine after a few discreet cosmeceutical procedures? Are a stricter diet and even more intense fitness training program part of Duchess Kate's New Year's resolutions?"

Of course, Buckingham Palace has not responded to any of the speculation and reports indicate that the Duchess had a quiet birthday celebration with husband Prince William and their two children at home.
