Less than two months after announcing her split from her husband, television star Bethenny Frankel hit the beach in Sydney, Australia on Feb. 19.

Frankel, 42, stepped out in a blood-red bikini at Sydney's famous North Bondi Beach and enjoyed her time in the water. At one point, the daytime talk show host and Skinny Girl founder was seen sporting a wetsuit and taking lessons from a surfing instructor. The reality star was trying to catch waves as she surfed in the ocean during her time Down Under. Frankel revealed that she arrived in Australia on Feb. 15 on Twitter.

"I'm in love with Sydney," she tweeted. "The weather is beautiful, the people are lovely and I am just so thrilled to be here."

Frankel's 2 year-old daughter did not accompany her. When a curious fan asked her on Twitter if she took her daughter Bryn, Frankel replied: "Unfortunately no. I felt it was too long a flight for her :("

When Frankel filed for divorce from her husband of three years, Jason Hoppy, she requested primary custody of Bryn, as well as child support. Hoppy, 41, counter filed her divorce petition seeking the same as well - sole custody of their daughter and child support also

According to TMZ, who has obtained access to Hoppy's divorce papers, he is seeking everything Frankel has requested in her divorce petition: medical benefits that includes dental coverage, a life insurance policy taken out for herself with him and their daughter as beneficiaries, his legal fees from the divorce process taken care of, his account paid for and "exclusive use and occupancy of the marital residence."

The couple shares a $5 million, four-bedroom apartment in Tribeca, New York City.

Enstars reported that Frankel has since hired the same divorce lawyers that Kati Holmes used for her split from Tom Cruise last summer. According to divorce papers obtained by InTouch Weekly, Frankel has retained the legal services of the law firm of Aronson, Mayefsky & Sloan and a New Jersey-based attorney, Jonathan Wolfe, so that she can achieve the same speedy results as Holmes.
