Fans waited patiently for a year to get a first taste of the Blue Mountain State: The Rise of Thadland movie, but they may not have to wait as long for the actual movie anymore.

A first look at the film, which wound up being a one minute 15 second clip from the movie, was released last week, and now, Darin Brooks may have hinted online that the film itself isn't far behind when it comes to a release.

In a tweet to a fan who recounted an experience of talking to Brooks and not realizing who he was until after they had their conversation, Brooks seemed to hint that the movie would be released soon-though it's still unclear of the actual timeframe or what kind of release it would get.

"There'll be more bro-Ur right upstairs! Movie's coming out soon too! #GoGoats Maybe a @latelateshow appearance? Haha," he wrote.

Fans have been waiting for news on the highly anticipated film almost since it raised the money for its funding in a Kickstarter campaign. The cast began filming in the end of 2014 and had wrapped by early 2015, with a release date slated for March.

However, that deadline-and several other potential ones-quickly passed by with no word on the movie's progress. The cast did post updates to social media about the film periodically, saying it was being delayed by Lionsgate, which was distributing it.
