Friends is one, if not the best TV comedy series we have ever seen. When the show ended, there's been an eternal void inside of us. However, it looks like we're seeing a tiny glimmer of hope after NBC announced that the cast will indeed reunite - but it's not exactly what you think.

Entertainment reports that NBC will be honoring the show's director, James Burrows for a one-off TV special. This means that it's not exactly a Friends reunion, it's merely a Friends reference.

But here's the catch: It's still uncertain whether or not they can get all six of them to be there at the same time. There have been countless news about possible reunions but there's allegedly someone always resisting behind the scenes.

NBC chairman Robert Greenblatt explains, "I'm hoping all six will be in same room at same time; I'm not sure we can logistically pull it off."
