Racy images of Rihanna flaunting her new tattoo were posted on Instagram the day before her birthday.

Rihanna's best friend Melissa Forde posted the steamy pictures on Feb. 19, the day before the Bajan beauty turned 25.

Forde posted a picture of the Diamonds singer wearing a two-piece bikini which revealed a new tattoo written in a foreign language. Rihanna nor Forde has yet to reveal the meaning of the tattoo or what language it is written in.

In the image, Rihanna is posed away from the camera with a cigarette in her mouth which appears to be marijuana. The bikini's colors are in red, yellow and green which represents the colors associated with the Jamaican Rastafarian culture. She accessorized the outfit with a gold body chain and her hair is sleek in a long ponytail.

Forde posted another photo of her best friend in a yellow two-piece bikini which showed off her flat stomach and infamous Isis tattoo that is inked below her chest. In this image, she is also holding a rolled-up brown cigarette and her hair is long and loose with flowing body waves.

The tattoo first debuted in Rihanna's new music video for Stay, which was released after she performed the same song at the Grammys on Feb. 10. The VEVO YouTube video for the tune that features Mikky Ekko had a little over 28 million views at time of publication. The video begins with Rihanna undressing before getting into a bathtub. When she takes off her pants, the camera zooms in to her backside and the new tattoo is shown.

The singer has never been discreet about her love for marijuana. On Valentine's Day, Rihanna tweeted a picture of a large bundle of marijuana leaves with the caption, "Roses are green! Somebody knows how to make me happy."

Earlier this month, Rihanna revealed another new tattoo on Twitter. The image is an unpublished photo from her Rolling Stone cover story.

In the picture, taken by famed photographer Terry Richardson, Rihanna is wearing a white tank top and under her left arm there is a tattoo of a Queen Nefertiti figure head. The ink job is positioned just above another tattoo she has - the Arabic reading of "Al Hurria fi Al Maseeh," which means "freedom in God" or "freedom in Christ."

The Nefertiti tattoo is likely her 15th ink job. She debuted her 14th, a tribute to her late grandmother, in September, of an Egyptian goddess inked just below her breasts.

Rihanna's many other tattoos include a symbol for her astrological sign Pisces behind her ear, a falcon, a gun, music notes, the word "Love" on one finger and "shhh!" on another. She also has a trail of stars on the back of her neck as well as the words "Never a failure, always a lesson" across the front of her shoulders written backwards so she can read it properly when standing in front of the mirror. She also has the Roman numerals "XI•IV•LXXXVI" - which signifies 4.11.1986, the birth date of Forde - on the front of one of her shoulders. Forde also has a matching tattoo of Rihanna's birthday. Rihanna has the name of her fragrance Rebelle Fleur on her neck. Translated from French to English, the phrase means "rebel flower."
