Pregnant reality television star Kim Kardashian has announced she is changing priorities ahead of her motherhood, confirming that the ninth season of her family reality show will be her last, and it's all thanks to her boyfriend, Kanye West.

While in Nigeria on a promotional tour, the ultra-glamorous actress took part in a stripped-down photo shoot for Du JourIn an interview with the magazine, the 32-year-old revealed she won't be signing on for any more of Keeping Up With The Kardashians after its ninth season, USA Today reported. The eight season of the show will premiere in June.

"I think there's always an evolution of, you know, what you want to do in life. It's all about finding things that really excite you and motivate you and spark you all over again. I'm realizing that no matter what, if you go into something with all these expectations and plans, once you're actually living it, it could be completely different," she said.

Kardashian revealed West, 35, has helped her to be more private.

"My boyfriend has taught me a lot about privacy. I'm ready to be a little less open about some things, like my relationships. I'm realizing everyone doesn't need to know everything. I'm shifting my priorities," she added.

The Kardashian signed a lucrative three-year contract extension with E! in April of 2012. Season 8 of  Keeping Up With The Kardashians is scheduled to premiere in the summer of 2013, while the spinoff Kourtney And Kim Take Miami is currently in the midst of its third season.

While the upcoming season won't air Kardashian giving birth, Ryan Seacrest confirmed the cameras will indeed follow her pregnancy.

"You will see her pregnancy on Keeping Up With the Kardashians because she will be, I think about four-and-a-half-months in when we start shooting for next season," Seacrest told Jay Leno on the Tonight Show on Jan. 10.

Kardashian is due to give birth this summer.
