The new trailer for a movie called 10 Cloverfield Lane was released last night, and many people were stunned. Very few even knew that a sequel to Cloverfield was being developed, as it was previously titled The Cellar and then Valencia.

"The idea came up a long time ago during production," one of the film's producers, J.J. Abrams, said in a Paramount statement. "We wanted to make it a blood relative of 'Cloverfield.' The idea was developed over time. We wanted to hold back the title for as long as possible."

10 Cloverfield Lane stars John Goodman, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and John Gallagher, Jr.--the only three actors featured in the teaser trailer. The trailer gives an air of mystery, with all three locked away in an underground cellar. But when Winstead's character attempts to escape, Goodman's character pleads that she's going to get them all killed. Winstead's character then reacts in fright to what she's seeing outside.
