Among the slew of performers at the BRIT Awards on Wednesday was One Direction, who took to the stage for a rendition of her new song One Way or Another (Teenage Kicks).

The award ceremony aired live from the O2 Arena in London. Following their performance the band - made up of Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne - took home the award for Global Success in recognition of her two hit albums and the worldwide fan base they have. The band beat Mumford & Sons and Adele in the respective category.

Justin Timberlake performed his new song Mirrors for the first time and Taylor Swift performed I Knew You Were Trouble. Performers for the night included Muse, Coldplay, Rihanna, Calvin Harris, Gotye, Rita Ora, Labrinth and Mumford & Sons.

Lana Del Rey, Frank Ocean and the Black Keys represented the United States by taking home one win each in the international categories. Adele, who will make her grand return to the stage when she performs at the Oscars on Feb. 24, took home the award for British Single for her single Skyfall. The song is from the soundtrack for the James Bond film with the same name.
