Comedian Joan Rivers admitted that she is considering dating women after sharing a female kiss.

In the Season 3 premiere of her reality TV show Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best?, Rivers talked with her daughter Melissa about a kiss with a mysterious woman.

The kiss took place at a recent dinner party hosted by friends Lily Tomlin and Jane Lynch. At the event, the Celebrity Apprentice winner shared a kiss with a woman only known as "Shirl" which left a mixed impression on her.

"It's like the Katy Perry song: I kissed a girl and ... I don't know if I liked it or didn't like it," Rivers said about the incident to her daughter, according to MSN. "But I did wake up this morning with an incredible urge to play golf."

She also admitted that she would not mind trying to find out more if a female relationship would be a good fit for her.

The 79-year-old Fashion Police critic appeared in an interview on TODAY and discussed her feelings on the issue.

Rivers, who has been married twice before, delved into her potential interest in dating same sex members, adding that she feels that there is nothing to lose.

"Lily Tomlin, who is my very good friend, she and Jane Lynch had a dinner party, and I met this lovely woman," Rivers said. "At this point, all the men I go out with remind me of my father - dead ... I figured I might as well try it at this point. Maybe I've been missing something."

This is the first time that Rivers has opened up about a potential interest in a same sex relationship.

Rivers previously admitted in 2010 that she had never experimented with a woman and joked "You should only come out when you need the publicity," according to Gay Star News.
