Listeners of a Radio 1 show on Thursday were convinced that its DJ Nick Grimshaw and his guest Harry Styles were still drunk after the two were out the night before going to different after-parties for the 2013 BRIT Awards.

Nick Grimshaw had the One Direction singer on his morning show the morning after the BRIT Awards, where the pop band performed and also took home the award for Global Success. The two spent Wednesday night attending both the Warner music after-party and The Savoy Hotel and Universal event at Soho House before heading home to rest before their morning interview, according to The Sun.

Grimshaw and Styles went to a number of parties after the award ceremony finished in London and then headed back to the DJ's home in Primrose Hill at around 4:30 a.m., Metro reported.

Grimshaw and Styles reportedly left the host's home at 6 a.m., took a cab and headed to the Radio 1 studo where they managed to arrive on time for the 6:30 a.m. start time. Photos taken of the two in Radio 1 studios showed Styles still wearing the same clothes from the night before: a printed button-downed shirt under a black suit jacket and matching pants. Grimshaw changed into a tie-dye shirt and jeans for the interview.

Grimshaw took to Twitter under the Radio 1's breakfast show account and posted, "OK - so sorry about the radio silence. We'll level with you, we're in a pretty fragile state right now :( :( :( #britsaftermath."

"Right, we're off for a very long sleep now. Thanks for putting up with us today :D," he added.

At the BRIT Awards on Wednesday, Styles' ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift performed I Knew You Were Trouble as the 1D singer looked on. When asked afterwards how he thought Swift did in her performance, Styles said, "I thought her performance was really good, she looked great."
