Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are not in an exclusive relationship anymore but are pretending to still be together to not affect sales of the final Twilight DVD, according to a report.

Pattinson asked Stewart for a trial separation due to his trust issues over her brief affair with married film director Rupert Sanders last summer. But the on-and-off again couple have to pretend they are still going strong at the request of Summit Pictures, the movie company behind the Twilight films, said a source. The couple has to maintain the image that all is well between them so that everyone can make as much money as possible on the final film.

"Rob & Kristen were asked to not announce a break-up or any relationship trouble until the DVD has been out for a few weeks and everything has sold," an insider told Hollywood Life. "The first couple weeks are the times when the DVD will sell like wildfire. The more DVD's sold, the more money for them. So they are abiding by the request."

Stewart reportedly considers herself "single" now and is ready to move on and date other people because Pattinson has not been communicating with her much since he flew to Australia on Jan. 17 to film his next movie The Rover.

"Rob has pushed Kristen away too much - she considers herself single now," another source told the website.

Stewart is ready to date other people but has concerns about her privacy with a new man. She did not fly down to Australia to be with Pattinson on Valentine's Day but if she did it would be to "simply get closure," the insider said.

The DVD release for Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn- Part 2 is set for March 2.
